Helping Local Businesses Get Seen PerkPatch began with a simple realization: great local businesses deserve a better chance to be noticed. While studying accounting and preparing to open my own bookkeeping firm, I experienced how difficult it can be for a small business to find clients. Getting noticed is about reaching the right people and becoming part of the community. I looked into traditional mailers, but the cost and process did not feel practical for smaller businesses. I wondered if local businesses could share the cost of a professionally designed mailer and still reach households in the communities they serve. That idea became PerkPatch. PerkPatch brings local businesses together on one memorable mailer so they can reach nearby households without managing an entire direct-mail campaign on their own. Each participating business receives a dedicated placement and professional presentation. We believe smaller businesses should have access to smart, effective local advertising, too. Our goal is to help local businesses get seen, get remembered, and get the opportunity to grow. Laci and Eric McCleskey have been together for 20 years and married for 10. Eric is Laci’s husband and business partner, and a U.S. Army veteran.
